Lindsey Cantillo is the Principal of Summer Coast Realty. With a dynamic career in real estate spanning over two decades, Lindsey Cantillo has established herself as a prominent figure in the Guanacaste beach area real estate market. Her journey in this field began in 2000 while she was still pursuing her degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance and banking.

Lindsey’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident early on. While studying, she successfully ran a local business in shoe and fragrance retail, honing her skills in client management and business growth. This venture not only flourished into a thriving wholesale and retail enterprise but also laid the groundwork for her acumen in understanding market dynamics.

Post-graduation, Lindsey ventured into logistics, opening a UPS courier office in Guanacaste. This initiative was a result of her persuasive thesis proposal that highlighted the potential for business expansion in the region.

In 2004, Lindsey transitioned full-time into real estate, joining a well-known agency in Tamarindo Beach. Her expertise and passion for the industry led her to establish her own real estate firm, Summer Coast Realty, in 2008, headquartered in Playa Flamingo. Lindsey’s real estate journey is marked by significant milestones, including building her personal home at 25 and navigating the challenging market pre-2007 economic crisis.

Beyond her business achievements, Lindsey has been a vital community and political contributor. Her roles include serving as President of the Surfside Association in Playa Potrero (2015-2019) and Vice-President of the ASADA Surfside water association (2016-2019). Since 2004, she has been an active board member of the Costa Rica Global Association of Realtors, contributing notably to organizing the national Realtors Annual Golf Tournament for over a decade. She is now the Vice President of the CRGAR, and in 2022, she played a crucial role in the Law Project committee, advocating for the legalization of the Real Estate profession in Costa Rica.

Lindsey is also internationally recognized, being a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) since 2009 and a Certified International Property Specialist since 2012. Her international reach expanded in 2018 through a partnership with Premier Casa in Panama, facilitating real estate transactions for clients relocating between Panama and Costa Rica.

Her academic pursuits continued with a Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing and Social Media from QLU University in Panama, completed during the challenging period of the 2019-2020 pandemic.
