Casa Rosada is a lovely, furnished 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom beach house close to Playa Conchal that features an open layout with lots of doors and windows to bring the tropical environment indoors. The patios on both floors surround the house, so there is always a shady spot to relax.

This Caribbean plantation-style home is often found in warmer climates and is ideal for the wonderful, warm weather we enjoy here in Guanacaste. The spacious one-car garage leads into the kitchen. Looking out the kitchen bay windows, you see the kidney-shaped pool surrounded by mature, local flora, giving you plenty of privacy. Up the circular staircase, you will find the four bedrooms and two bathrooms that are surrounded by native trees.

Lomas de Conchal is a fun, four-kilometer ride down a usually well-groomed dirt road that makes you feel like you are traveling back in time to the good old days. What residents in this area enjoy most is that you have access to several lesser-known beaches, as it is located in the Cabo Velas area, off the beaten track.

With bright blue waters, beautiful coastal views, and a very local atmosphere, Puerto Viejo is a must for anyone looking to get away from the crowds of Conchal Beach. It’s definitely one of those under-the-radar, local-only beaches! A beautiful swimming beach with soft sand and plenty of shade. There is a restaurant on the beach that offers cold beer and very fresh ceviche.
